August26: Update, book releases, news and events

Hey everyone,

Hope all is well! We have a slight hell gate hole in the road situation going on right now where we are, but hey!

In Harvey news, we're heading towards the end of August so a few days left until the deadline for Harvey Post Apocalypse and the Flash!Mob What Goes Around if you haven't sent one in yet.

And the third Round Robin is out and about and being as fun and bizarre as always!

Our upcoming baskets include a new one - Pirates, Brigands and Outlaws - and a reopening of the fab Dark Ages Pagan Mythos basket. Deadline dates to be released soon.

The Robinson House Writers

The monthly meetings at Stokesley are fab and are now accompanied by a series of posts here to give you the links to all the stuff we've been discussing. Meetings take place in person on the first Thursday of the month, 12pm, in a meeting room above the Globe Community Library.

Author Mentoring

I have some availability from October onwards for author mentoring sessions. These are £50/session (90 minutes in person in Norton - at La Porto - or on Zoom) if you'd like to have a productive chat about your works in progress, an insight into the publishing process or practical advice on writing (fiction and non-fiction) and publishing.
