The FLASH!MOB prompt for April 2026 is A NEW BROOM

300 to 1k wobbly words... any genre... any style... go wild with the whatifs!

What if...

• a new broom is delivered by express post but it's not what was ordered...
• a new manager turns up and decides everything has to change...
• a new broom might sweep clean, and an old broom might know all the corners, but what if none of the brooms can reach what is lurking in the rafters?
• 'NEW BROOM' is the code name for a device that will wipe all life from the planet... resetting so history can start again...
• a new witch turns up at the weekly meeting in the coffee shop but they have some bizarre ideas on how the solstice should be celebrated...

Any of these or whatever springs to mind... have fun and happy writing.
