Folly and Madness abounds...

"A month ago, in the early dawn light, on the banks of the River Tees, a small group of writers, readers and bibliophiles stood shivering in the mist as it rose off the water... a horn was blown, a single sad mournful note that filled the frigid air."

And so did we say goodbye to Harvey Duckman (as described by the inimitable Mark Hayes... read the whole caboodle here).

Harvey Duckman is dead, but... long live Harvey Duckman. We're excited to say we're back with a wonderful collection of splendifferous steampunkery, rich in steam-powered dirigibles, clockwork automatons, dystopian inventions, blunderbuss pistols, gas lamps, tentacles, gears and goggles, corsets and candlelight.

Featuring fab stories from Anna Atkinson-Dunn, Keith Errington, Eloign deBrohn, Kate Baucherel, Steven C. Davis, Nimue Brown, C.K. Roebuck, Laura Buckley, Mark Hayes, Alexandrina Brant, Ben Sawyer and Mat McCall, the new Harvey, Folly and Madness, is out on Saturday 6th July and is available to pre-order on Amazon now:

Arising from our STEAMPUNK basket, as Mark says, "...this is perhaps the best collection we have ever produced. Though I am biased in this case as I curated it, which is a fancy way of saying I rustled up some writers and gave them a brief, but there you go. I will take credit for convincing some talented people to write stories."

"...this is perhaps the best collection we have ever produced."

We'll be at Kapow in Stockton on Tees on Saturday 6th July, 10am to 4pm, with paperback copies you can get signed by the Harveys who'll be there (some, not all).

It's exciting to be back and we look forward to more. The next basket currently under curation is our Post-Apocalyse/Dystopian. In the meantime, enjoy some splendifferous steampunkery!
