300 words... any genre... any style... go wild with the whatifs!

What if...

• a mysterious line appears on a beach... anyone crossing it disappears...
• a street artist draws a line across the pavement that gets wider and wider each day...
• a ship exploring the galaxy comes across a line in space marked by a distress signal...
• work colleagues fighting over the kettle draw a line in the sand to resolve the situation... what happens when someone crosses the line?
• you set a personal line in the sand a long time ago... what does it take to cross it now?

Any of these or whatever springs to mind... have fun and happy writing.

A note on wobbly word counts: 300 words is just a rough guide.. anything up to 900 is fine xx
