I've just realised we have a ton of stuff planned for this year and I haven't mentioned most of it to anyone yet. So here's a run down on where we'll be heading and what we'll be doing.

Robinson House Writers Meeting
Our regular Robinson House Writers meeting in Stokesley where we chat about writing and publishing, with info and discussion each month.

Come along to find out more about the Robinson House Writers and how we can help you write, publish and promote your book. We're a friendly bunch and the sessions are useful and informative.

Monday 16th June, 10.30am

Flash Fiction Workshop
Join us for a fun and creative session on writing flash fiction short stories with prompts based around the theme of railways and trains linking with the 200th anniversary of the Stockton & Darlington Railway. Another fab Flash!Mob book written and published in just a few weeks, the anthology produced will be launched online on Friday 27th June at 6pm.

Writer Workshop and Harvey Gathering with books
Meet the Harveys, buy books, come along for a chat or come to a friendly writer workshop (in the bar) for a heads up on how to write awesome novels and short stories, how to get your work published and how to sell and promote your books.

The WRITE Festival, The Word, South Shields
Saturday 6th September, 11am-1pm

Workshop: How to Write a Stand Out Story
Join us for an informal, friendly and informative session on what makes a story stand out and grab a reader's attention. We'll be looking at short stories and full length novels, and will be discussing what makes a good story, what makes a memorable character and how to structure your story, followed by some general pointers on writing and getting your stories published.

The WRITE Festival, The Word, South Shields
Saturday 6th September, 1.30-3.30pm

Workshop: Flash Fiction
Join us for a fun and creative session on writing flash fiction short stories of around 300 words. With a session on what makes great flash fiction pieces and then prompts to inspire ideas, this workshop will then be followed by an opportunity to submit your flash fiction stories to be published in an anthology to be released on Friday 12th September with an online launch event.

Workshop: How to Write True Life Stories
Join us for an informal, friendly and informative session on how to write true life stories. We'll be looking at different types of true life story including memoirs, autobiographies, biographies, true crime, creative non-fiction and fiction based on real life, and will be discussing legal issues, how to write and structure your story, and how to get it published.
